Welcome to 4th grade. I am happy to be teaching at Aristoi Classical Academy. This is my fourth year at Aristoi, although I have previously taught both high school and junior high in the Houston and Milwaukee, WI areas. I have also worked in an educational role with Pre-K and Kindergarten students. I have a B.S. degree from Silver Lake College in Manitowoc, WI. My husband and I are the parents of four precious boys.
Earlier this year, I published my first children's book, Time for Sleep, Pete. This has been a goal of mine since childhood.
I am excited to help guide my students to a deeper understanding and appreciation of classics in literature. We will be working together to strengthen writing and spelling skills. Our study of history will bring us to knowing and discussing key events of our past. Persevering through math practice and science study leads to open minds to new ideas and truths of our world. Growing in our number sense will help us gain new confidence to embrace math.
It will be a wonderful year.
