Lucina Botond joined the ACA School Board in October 2008 and has held the role of School Board President since April 2010.
Lucina is the parent of three boys, two of whom are still attending ACA. She’s been married for 25 years to her husband, Sandy. She grew up on a ranch in far South Texas where she enjoyed riding horses, working cattle, cleaning stables and hunting. She received her B.A. in English from the University of Kentucky and her J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. She practiced business litigation prior to starting a family.
Lucina recognized the value of this school when she enrolled her oldest child in 2007. Once she began to learn more about classical education, she realized that it was the type of education that could transform the struggling public education system. She is honored to play a part in a charter school that is cultivating wisdom and virtue in its students.
