Is there a cost to attend Aristoi?

No. Aristoi Classical Academy is a publicly funded, tuition-free charter school.

Do we have to be in Katy ISD or CyFair to attend Aristoi Classical Academy?

No. Aristoi Classical Academy is its own independent district. We are able to accept students from the surrounding districts including, but not limited to:

What are the student school hours?

Katy Campuses:
  • Elementary School
    • Kindergarten - 4th grade on the Aristoi Elementary Katy Campus is from 7:45 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • Upper School
    • 5th - 12th grade is from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM.
Cypress Campus:
  • Elementary School: Kindergarten - 4th grade is from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM.
  • Middle School: 5th - 6th grade (opening Fall 2021) will be from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM. 

What are the class sizes?

All homeroom classes are limited to 22 students in Kindergarten - 2nd grade and 25 students in 3rd-12th grade classes. Most PE classes will have more than 22 students. 

Are there uniforms or a dress code?

Do you serve lunch at school?

Yes. We are part of the federal lunch program. We serve both hot breakfast and lunch. Free and reduced meals are available to those who qualify.

Do you provide transportation?

No. Parents must either provide transportation for their children or use a daycare, which provides transportation.
At the Katy Elementary Campus, no child may be dropped off before 7:20 AM, and all children must be picked up before 3:45 PM. At the Katy Upper School Campus, no child may be dropped off before 7:30 AM, and all children must be picked up before 3:45 PM.  At the Cypress Elementary Campus, no child may be dropped off before 7:35 AM, and all children must be picked up before 4:00 PM.

Do you provide BEFORE school care?

The Katy campus begins Before School Care with drop-off starting at 6:45 AM; for the Cypress Campus, Before School care begins at 6:30 AM. 

Do you provide AFTER school care?

  • Katy: Aristoi has partnered with the YMCA to offer an after-school program from dismissal to 6:00 PM.  For program details and registration, please contact the YMCA directly at 281-392-5055 or email Tarikh Burroughs at tarikh.burroughs@ymcahouston.org.
  • Cypress: The YMCA is providing After School care for our Cypress campus.  Students must be picked up by 6:00 PM.  Please email afterschool@ymcahouston.org to register.

My child was expelled from school. May I enroll him at Aristoi Classical Academy?

No. Our charter states: "Students with a documented history of discipline problems from their previous campus or the juvenile justice system will be excluded from enrolling in Aristoi Classical Academy."
