Is there a cost to attend Aristoi?

No. Aristoi Classical Academy is a publicly funded school, tuition-free charter school.
 
 

Do we have to be in Katy ISD to attend Aristoi Classical Academy?

No. Aristoi Classical Academy is its own independent district. We are able to take students from the surrounding districts including, but not limited to: Katy, Cypress-Fairbanks, Royal, Fort Bend, Lamar Consolidated, Houston, Alief, Anderson-Shiro CISD, Bellville ISD, Brazos ISD, Brenham ISD, Burton ISD, Columbus ISD, Giddings ISD, Hallettsville ISD, Lola ISD, Madisonville ISD, Navasota ISD, Rice ISD, Richards ISD, Sealy ISD, and Weimar ISD.
 

What are the student school hours?

Katy Campus:
Kindergarten - 4th grade on the Katy Elementary Campus is from 7:45 am to 3:00 pm and 5th - 12th grade on the Upper Campus is from 8:00 am to 3:15 pm.
 
Cypress Campus:
Kindergarten - 4th grade on the Cypress Elementary Campus is from 8:00 am to 3:15 pm.
 

What are the class sizes?

All homeroom classes are limited to 22 students per Kindergarten - 2nd grade class and 25 students 3rd-12th grade classes.. Most PE classes will have more than 22.
 
 

Are there uniforms or a dress code?

Do you serve lunch at school?

Yes. We are part of the federal lunch program. We serve both hot breakfast and lunch. Free and reduced meals are available to those who qualify.
 
 

Do you provide transportation?

No. Parents must either provide transportation for their children or use a daycare, which provides transportation.
 
At the Katy Elementary Campus, no child may be dropped off before 7:20 AM and all children must be picked up before 3:45 PM. At the Katy Upper School Campus, no child may be dropped off before 7:30 AM and all children must be picked up before
3:45 PM.  At the Cypress Elementary Campus, no child may be dropped off before 7:35 AM and all children must be picked up before 4:00 PM.
 
 

Do you provide BEFORE school care?

Yes. Aristoi has before school care with drop off starting at 7:00 AM.  For details and registration, please call the Rhonda Tietz in the Business Office at 281-574-6154.
 
 

Do you provide AFTER school care?

Yes. Aristoi has partnered with the YMCA to offer an after school program from 3:30 to 6:00 PM.  For program details and registration, please contact the YMCA directly at 281-392-5055 or email Sherry Hubbard at sherryh@ymcahouston.org
 
 

My child was expelled from school. May I enroll him at Aristoi Classical Academy?

No. Our charter states: "Students with a documented history of discipline problems from their previous campus or from the juvenile justice system will be excluded from enrolling in Aristoi Classical Academy."
