WHCS's Core Knowledge curriculum and classical education philosophy will be guides to SUCCESS for your children. Your children's artwork will be prominently displayed within the school. And as school assemblies and festivals are planned, ART will be a part of them.Our class work will consist of practicing techniques, making artwork, and learning about the building blocks or "elements" of art - line, shape, form, color, space, texture, and value. In accordance with out classical education tenets, we will also spend considerable time reading about artists and understanding the time periods in which the masterpieces of art history were created.
