Griffins National Junior Honor Society
Teacher Advisor – Mr. Rick Brokaw
“The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding junior high school students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921.”

Established as the Griffins National Junior Honor Society in 2016, Aristoi Classical Academy’s NJHS provides students with opportunities to serve both their school and the Katy community. Service projects such as campus beautification, peer-tutoring, and school consolidation have provided students the opportunity to impact their school and their classmates. In the community they have volunteered with paper shredding day at Traditions Bank and will be assisting the Katy Community food bank next spring.
Students in the NJHS are of the best in character, academics, and leadership that Aristoi has to offer. They serve as leaders in their school, amongst their friends, and in the Katy community. Membership in the NJHS requires students to maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. Admission into NJHS comes only after a student has undergone a rigorous admission process which reviews character, leadership, service, and scholarship.
